Durga pujo
The following article was published in October 2018 in DURGA: DOSHODISHI. This is an in-house magazine published by KUNDU BARI in Kolkata, India and not for sale. The Durga Puja at my cousin's house (Kundu Bari) celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2018. I would love to hear your thoughts on the article. Is there a…
Streaming thoughts on streaming
We get rid of cable more than five years ago. My husband decides streaming is the future of television when everyone else is hooked to cable and dish. Yes, this is five years ago...I was a NOT SO HAPPY wife then...but really, we haven't looked back since severing our ties with the not so great…
The indolent mode
When you stop exercising, your body goes into the 'indolent mode'. It thinks "oh isn't this wonderful...no work and fuel coming in!!!" My first 5 K
I registered for the 5 K race in March 2015. At that time, I was not able to run more than a mile at a stretch. But one cold and foggy morning in April, I started running and found I could actually run the whole 3.1 miles (5 K) without having to take any walking breaks at all. I was overjoyed. I had never thought when I started out less than a year ago that I could run for three whole miles. But I did it. Like I say β If I can do it, anyone can!
Go for it people!
Piqued by Piku β late review and rantings of a CR Park Bong
Being a Bengali raised in Delhi by a very Bengali family in the very locality the movie is allegedly taking place, I think I am obligated to write, but a few words, about Piku.
Breaking it down
One week: At a glance
I thought Iβd give you a brief idea about my exercise and food schedule for a week just to show that it is neither extraordinary nor unachievable.
